Koriyama (Fukushima Prefecture)
26 November 2017

Musica Reale appeared on 26 November 2017 at a special event in Koriyama, a city north of Tokyo that will be one of the Japanese cities hosting the Dutch Olympic Team in 2020. The all-afternoon event consisted of a workshop with members of a young student orchestra, Cutie Strings, in which Musica Reale members helped prepare, and then performed together with the students, the slow movement of Mozart’s clarinet concerto and the first movement of Mozart’s first horn concerto. This was followed by a chamber music concert, including music by Mozart, Ingolf Dahl, Dvořák and a couple of surprise encores.
